Nestlé is celebrating the inauguration of a new Nestlé Nespresso production and distribution centre in Avenches (Canton de Vaud, Switzerland) on Wednesday 10 June 2009 at 0900 CET.
The new state-of-the-art facility of 400,000m3 will produce and distribute 4.8 billion Nespresso capsules per year. The establishment of the centre will result in the creation of 340 full-time jobs by the end of this year. This is a further sign that the premium and luxury business is one of Nestlé’s strategic growth platforms and shows the company’s commitment to Switzerland.
